    The Lucerne Festival, based in Switzerland, has launched Lucerne Festival Ark Nova, a project to bring hope via music to the disaster areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake, which struck on March 3, 2011.

    The concert hall was created by Arata Isozaki and Anish Kapoor. An air-inflated membrane structure, it can be folded up with the interior equipment dismantled and loaded on a truck for traveling around the region.
