    Design firm <a href="http://www.hok.com/" target="external">HOK</a> teamed up with the <a href="http://www.beckgroup.com/" target="external">Beck Group</a> to create the new Dali museum. The architecture was inspired by the surrealist artist's own work but also needs to have practical elements to accommodate the expected crowds and of course Florida's sometimes wild weather.

    The Dali collection includes 96 oil paintings from 1917 through 1970; more than 100 watercolors and drawings, 1,300 graphics, photographs, sculptures and an extensive archival library.
