With more air carriers flying direct from major U.S. cities to airports in Aguadilla and Mayaguez, Puerto Rico's relaxed and rugged west coast has become an easy and affordable tropical vacation spot. Its chief selling point -- the miles and miles of picture-perfect beaches that are almost empty of people -- except in July when most Puerto Ricans go on vacation and head to villages like Rincon, La Parguera and Isabela.
