Don't lick the walls! Bolivia's Hotel Palacio de Sal Hotel & Spa is built entirely of salt: Walls, floors, ceilings, and much of the decor including some chairs, tables, beds and sculptures are constructed from one million salt blocks. The hotel itself is built on a salt flat, so naturally the building materials were locally sourced. The 30-room resort has saunas, steam rooms and, unsurprisingly, saltwater baths.
