Route 66: Clinton, Okla. to Albuquerque.

The current incarnation of the Oklahoma Route 66 Museum in Clinton, Okla., opened in September 1995. Visitors experience the history and culture of Route 66 through exhibits, multimedia presentations and an audio tour. The 1958 Ford Fairlane is parked in the carport of the Tradewinds Inn across the street, where Kate Snow and sister Barb Snow spent the night in the Elvis suite. (Courtesy Barb Snow)
