This year's Open Golf Tournament will be held at the Turnberry Resort, offering guests immediate access to the course. In existence for more than 100 years, Turnberry's guest suites have been recently renovated. From the hotel guests have views of a lighthouse, The Isle of Arran and Aisla Craig, a dome of granite rising from the sea.

The resort itself offers a variety of outdoor activities such as archery, mountain-biking and clay pigeon shooting as well as a spa with a plethora of massages, wraps and other body treatments. Guests will be within walking distance from the Open's action. Situated on the coastline, the apartments are conveniently located close to a number of golf courses including Ailsa, Kintyre and Royal Troon in addition to outdoor activities such as salmon fishing and riding trails.
