PHOTOS: Taxis Of The Future

The iconic New York City yellow cab is undergoing a makeover and prototypes of the taxis soon to roam the city's streets were unveiled at TAXI 07. The Kia Rondo Taxi was one of the prototypes on display from April 6-15, 2007, at the International Auto Show at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York. It features the new official exterior design of the city's taxis, a swivel chair for the disabled, and a car seat for little children. There are even side mirrors for passengers to see if there are passing bikers before they open the door. (Barnaby Lo)
