Dawn says living on the water with her two little dogs is nice but there have been so many hurricanes that she has had enough.
"If someone would want to buy this I would be delighted to sell it," she said.
As for residents who are feeling the effects of the storm – or are about to—the National Hurricane Center has a few words of warning.
"This will be one of those days where residents need to stay inside and stay off the roads," Feltgen said. "This is not a good day to be traveling and [people should] wait for this to be out of here."
