Md. Man Held in Aruba Sued by Insurer

An American Express subsidiary is suing a Maryland man who was jailed for months in Aruba in the suspected death of his traveling companion. The subsidiary, AMEX Assurance Company, seeks to void a travel insurance policy that Gary Giordano, of Gaithersburg, took out in Robyn Gardner's name before their Caribbean vacation last year.
