— -- ABC News Meteorologist Mel explains how this week's weather forecast could impact your fantasy football league.

Giants vs. Rams in London, England:

It’s usually rainy in London, but it looks to stay mostly dry with cool temperatures in the upper 40s to near 50 degrees when the Giants and Rams visit this Sunday. Don’t forget to wake up early to check your lineup, the game airs in the morning here in the U.S. Odell Beckham Jr. started off slow last week, but then had his biggest game of the year with over 200 yards and two touchdowns; one of those being the game-winning score. We count on him for these kind of big plays, which puts him in the must-start category. Unfortunately, the rest of the Giants’ offense isn’t looking too hot. Victor Cruz and Sterling Shepard started out great this season, but now their numbers are getting lower and lower each week. Although Eli Manning had a great second half last Sunday, he’s still obviously struggling and continues to make fantasy owners too nervous to play. The Rams are the second lowest scoring team in the league, but they do have two good weapons: Todd Gurley is the obvious choice, and also Kenny Britt, who should definitely have been picked up on waivers this week. Britt has been consistently getting a healthy number of receptions, and now he finally got two touchdowns last week.

Vikings vs. Eagles in Philadelphia:

After summer-like heat across the Northeast this week, it finally feels like football weather again on Sunday in Philadelphia. Sunny skies with temperatures in the upper 50s to near 60 will be about 25 degrees colder than just a few days ago. The Vikings are the only undefeated team in the NFL right now, and who would have thought after losing Teddy Bridgewater and Adrian Peterson at the beginning of the season! Well, we can give a lot of credit to their top-ranked defense that should be played in all fantasy lineups. Vikings defense could easily give Carson Wentz some trouble this week. The Eagles were turnover-free and 3-0 before their bye, but since week 4 they’ve lost back-to-back games; Wentz threw his first interception one game and had zero touchdowns in the other. He’s looking more and more like a rookie, and now having to play the Vikings defense, it’s not going to get much better. Both of the Matthews -- Ryan and Jordan -- are also very risky plays this week, it’s just too hard to trust inconsistent players like this against the Vikings' defensive unit.

Here are your top 10 players to start and sit based on the weather this week:

For Wayback Weather let's go back to Dec. 9 when the Giants played the Bears in the 1934 NFL Championship Game, aka The Sneakers Game. The night before, freezing rain completely froze the field at The Polo Grounds in New York City, turning it into football nightmare. The Chicago Bears were on an 18-game winning streak and undefeated for the season, so the defending champions were the obvious favorites to win. The Bears led 10-3 at the half, but the Giants returned with a secret weapon to combat the frozen field: basketball sneakers! They switched their shoes and a remarkable thing happened, the Giants scored four touchdowns in the fourth quarter and won the game 30-13.
