— -- A 20-year-old Florida woman was taken into custody today after photos circulated this summer of her and another woman allegedly appearing to sit on sea turtles, officials said.

In early July, two women were seen in photographs appearing to ride on sea turtles, the Melbourne Police Department said.

Complaints were sent to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, police said.
