    Staff Sgt. Jamie Jarboe was shot by a sniper while serving on military duty in Afghanistan. After enduring countless surgeries and efforts of rehabilitation, Jarboe died in March 2012. This photo was taken five days before he died, the day Jamie told his wife that he wasn't afraid to die.
