Jan. 18, 2011— -- Extending his hand across partisan lines, President Obama is promising to streamline government regulations and make it easier for America's business community to grow.

In an editorial in today's Wall Street Journal, the president writes of the waste caused by uncoordinated government rules.

"Sometimes, those rules have gotten out of balance, placing unreasonable burdens on business -- burdens that have stifled innovation and have had a chilling effect on growth and jobs," Obama wrote.

"Over the past two years, the goal of my administration has been to strike the right balance. And today, I am signing an executive order that makes clear that this is the operating principle of our government," he continued.

The executive order, Obama says, will spark a review of government rules and "root out regulations that conflict, that are not worth the cost, or that are just plain dumb."

Our question to you today: What do you think of the president's order and what would you want to see changed first?
