Notable Deaths 2012
Whitney Houston performs Oct. 1, 1991, in Paris. Houston died on Feb. 11, 2012 in Beverly Hills, Calif. She was 48. Houston died from accidental drowning, but the drowning may have been spurred by heart disease and cocaine found in her system, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office.
