Former North Carolina Tar Heel Rashad McCants told ESPN's "Outside the Lines" that he made the dean's list despite not attending his four classes.

"I thought it was a part of the college experience, just like watching it on a movie from 'He Got Game' or 'Blue Chips,'" McCants told ESPN.

The NCAA recently sanctioned UNC's football program after reports of widespread academic fraud at the university.
