An intersection was named for the late actor in his hometown.

Members of Gandolfini's TV mafia family from "The Sopranos," along with his widow, Deborah Lin, and two children, were also on hand as an intersection in Park Ridge was named "James Gandolfini Way."

Gandolfini died in Italy in June of a heart attack. He was 51.
