quicklist: 2Title: Packers Plan to Retire Brett Favre's Number ... EventuallyText: It's the ultimate sports honor and it looks like Brett Favre's Green Bay Packers no. 4 may join the list of retired jersey numbers, but not yet.

Packers president and CEO Mark Murphy wrote in his monthly column on the team's website that they "plan on retiring his number."

"He deserves to have his number retired for what he accomplished, and meant to the Packers, during his time here," Murphy wrote.

Murphy added that the "timing has to be right for both Brett and the organization." He said that Favre will be on the Hall of Fame ballot in 2016 and they would like to retire his number prior to his induction.

Favre had something of a bitter breakup with the team. After he left, he played for despised Packer rival the Minnesota Vikings. Apparently, this was about as big as betrayal comes in football.

Murphy seems to be hoping things will smooth over by 2016...a mere nine years after he left the team.

"I know that many of our fans were upset that Brett played for the Vikings," Murphy wrote. "As time goes by, though, I think wounds are healed and people focus more on the great things he did for the team during his 16 years here."

quicklist: 3Title: Are the L.A. Lakers Going After Lamar Odom Again? Text: The world might soon find out how basketball player (and "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star) Lamar Odom feels about the idea of forgiving and forgetting.

ESPN's Ramona Shelburne set the Internet abuzz when she tweeted, "Lakers have reached out to Lamar Odom, but it been [sic] hard to determine how high interest level is on either side thus far."

Odom and the Lakers went through a bitter breakup when the team traded him to the Dallas Mavericks in 2011 after seven seasons. The team has found itself in a tough spot after star player Dwight Howard recently decided to leave for the Houston Rockets, according to the Bleacher Report.

Odom played for the L.A. Clippers last season. We're cool with whatever team he wants to play on so long as he still gets to laugh his way through any kooky Kardashian scene he finds himself in the middle of.

Pilot Lee Kang-kook had 43 hours of flight experience on the Boeing 777 and Saturday was his first time landing at the airport with that kind of aircraft, Asiana Airlines spokeswoman Lee Hyo-min said today at a news conference in Seoul, South Korea.

"He is a veteran pilot with almost 10,000 hours on other aircrafts like the 747," she said. "He was in the process of getting a license for the new 777.

"He has flown the new 777 nine times before to Narita [in Tokyo], London, L.A., and more. But, yes, to San Francisco, with that specific 777 type, it was his first," she added.

Lee flew with an experienced Boeing 777 pilot mentor, in accordance with world standard, the spokeswoman said.
