Looks like Taylor Swift's got a new BFF -- or at least a new F!

The singer posed in an embrace with new buddy Karlie Kloss at a party ahead of this year's Met Ball. Swift wore a bright orange dress to the party, and all eyes will be on the star at tonight's gala at the Met.

At a different party a few hundred miles away, singer and reality star Jessica Simpson posed with her fiance at the White House Correspondents' Dinner in Washington, D.C. Simpson wore a black-and-white, floor-length gown to the dinner and changed into a little black dress for a party after.

Ozzy's fans are on a mission to have the Black Sabbath singer knighted in the United Kingdom. They've launched an online petition that now has more than 11,000 signatures. The organizers set up a Facebook page to help spread awareness of the campaign.

Earthquake Rattles Tokyo

An earthquake rocked Tokyo on Sunday morning. The quake measured as a magnitude 6 and was centered about 60 miles off the coast of Japan, according to the Associated Press.

There was no threat of tsunami with the quake.

Circus Acrobats Injured in Collapse

A group of circus acrobats fell in the middle of a performance in Providence, R.I., Sunday when the apparatus suspending them suddenly collapsed.

The incident happened about an hour and a half into a performance of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus' Legends show Blue Unit at the city's Dunkin' Donuts Center.

At least nine performers were injured but all were recovering. Read more of ABC News' coverage.
