The Social Climber needs to start hanging out at the Los Angeles airport baggage check more often: It's where all the good gossip goes down.

This week, in fact, it was where paparazzi were casually peppering pro wrestler Darren Young with questions about whether a gay wrestler could survive among the ranks of the hypermasculine WWE. You know Young's answer?

"Absolutely — look at me — I'm a WWE superstar and to be honest with you, I'll tell you right now, I'm gay. And I'm happy. I'm very happy," Young said in a TMZ video.

Look at him. Just coming out and claiming bags. No big deal. Get the Social Climber a ticket to LA.

Take a deep breath, New England Patriots fans.

Tom Brady, superhusband of supermodel Gisele Bundchen and also quarterback of the Patriots, went down during practice Wednesday afternoon holding his left knee and grimacing with an apparent injury, according to ESPN.

Fans watching the practice in Foxborough, Mass., fell silent as Brady hit the ground and visions of a disastrous, losing season flashed before their eyes. Fear crept outward from Foxborough and engulfed Massachusetts, and then Connecticut, and as night fell, even people in Vermont were worried for what would become of their Sunday afternoons for the next five months.

And then, just like that, an MRI on Brady's knee came back late Wednesday showing no serious injuries, and all of New England let out a collective exhale. Brady returned home to Bundchen, diagnosed with a sprain, and all was right again on the East Coast. Phew!

The Social Climber needs to know: How can we get our hands on a newly invented and totally adorable glow-in-the-dark bunny?

Because, come on, green rabbits?! Glowing bunnies?! Neon cottontails! This is so cool.

Unfortunately, it seems that scientists at the University of Hawaii who invented glow-in-the-dark rabbits are keeping the animals all to themselves in order to research hereditary illness. The researchers injected the rabbits' embryos with fluorescent protein from jellyfish that makes them glow green when placed under a black light, according to the report.

Nightclub bunnies! Cool!

Wimbledon tennis champion Marion Bartoli made a surprise announcement Wednesday after an exhausting loss during the Western & Southern Open tournament in Ohio.

Bartoli took to a microphone in tears, saying she would no longer play professional tennis, according to ESPN.

The 28-year-old said that physical pain from her years as a top athlete had become too much to play through, and she was ready to step back.

"My body was really starting to fall apart and I was able to keep it together, go through the pain -- with a lot of pain -- throughout this Wimbledon and make it happen," the French player said, tears running down her cheeks. "That was probably the last little bit of something that was left inside me.

"I've been playing for a long, long, long time, and it's time for me now. It is."

We've all done it: turned to Google in our darkest hours, asking the search engine questions we're not quite proud of.

But now, we can share our embarrassment with the world! A new Twitter hashtag catching fire Wednesday morning had us feeling better already for that thing we asked Google last week but didn't really want to tell anyone about: #sadGooglesearches.

Here are some of Social Climber's favorite #sadgooglesearches:

"calories burned from twerking," from Twitter user @RoseScorer

"How can I lose 10 pounds by tomorrow?" by @andylassner

"how to make friends" by @Jessitaaa13
