Aw, buck up, Tropical Storm Gabe. No need to feel so blue.

This morning, Tropical Storm Gabrielle announced he was feeling depressed and didn't want to be a Tropical Storm or a Hurricane anymore. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration relented and dropped TS Gabrielle down to a tropical depression once again.

According to weather and psychology reports, the storm will likely still hang around Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic for a few days, dumping buckets of rain over the islands and feeling like an underachiever.

He danced those pounds right off, it seems.

Chaz Bono, former "Dancing With the Stars" contestant and one-time 250-pound heavyweight, showed off a much slimmer physique this week in L.A. The famous offspring of Sonny and Cher has lost more than 60 pounds since last year.

Club Drug Molly Not The Best Dance Accessory

News broke this past weekend that two people had died after possibly overdosing on molly, the club drug also known as MDMA, and a firestorm of Internet searches followed for more info about the drug.

So here's what we know: molly, short for "molecule," is supposed to be the purest form of ecstasy. It raises your body temperature, heart rate, and blood pressure, and makes users feel temporarily elated.

But we also know it's dangerous and can lead to stroke or death. The Social Climber's advice? All the party, none of the molly. Just dance!

Oh, Emma. No no no.

The Social Climber is loathe to point out that crop tops with giant shoulder-wing-things are a regrettable choice for just about any occasion, never mind an awards show where one is receiving a "Woman of the Year" prize.

But we'll do it if we have to, because the Social Climber is here to help, and Emma, dear, you need some help on this one.

Planetary Nebulae Discovered, World Scratches Head
PHOTO: The Hubble Space Telescope captured this image of the "butterfly wing"- shaped nebula, NGC 2346. The nebula is about 2,000 light-years away from Earth in the direction of the constellation Monoceros.

This one's for you, science nerds.

Discovery reports that astronomers discovered that planetary nebulae, the dust particles left hanging around after red stars die, are all pointing in the same direction throughout the Milky Way galaxy.

Huh. Isn't that something? No, really, is it? The Social Climber is not quite sure, and would like help from science-y commenters to explain its significance.

Also, did someone say Milky Way? Yum.
