"I'm going to continue to do what I've been doing, love my kids, teach them to be good people, blog, etc. I am working on a few different writing projects. We are changing schools. The detective [her husband] and I decided it would be best for Boo and help things calm down at the old preschool. They shouldn't have to suffer because of this incident."

When asked why she thought the post has become so popular, Sarah said today, "We have all been picked on for something. We all want someone to stand by us and stick up for us. Plus my son looked so adorable. It was easy for people to feel sympathetic."

In her original blog post she wrote, "If you think that me allowing my son to be a female character for Halloween is somehow going to 'make' him gay then you are an idiot. Firstly, what a ridiculous concept. Secondly, if my son is gay, OK. I will love him no less. Thirdly, I am not worried that your son will grow up to be an actual ninja so back off."
