INDEPENDENCE, Mo., May 25, 2006 — -- Police said murder suspects Richard D. Davis and Dena D. Riley were taken into custody today in Barton County.

Davis, 41, and Riley, 39, are charged with first-degree murder, kidnapping, two counts of forcible sodomy and forcible rape in the death of Marsha Spicer.

Spicer's body was found May 15 in a shallow grave in a creek near Bates City.

Court records show detectives found a graphic video in the couple's apartment in the 1100 block of Truman Road in Independence. Police said the video shows Davis and Riley allegedly beating and sexually assaulting Spicer.

Independence police told ABC News affiliate KMBC-TV in Kansas City that Davis and Riley will be brought back to Independence tonight.
