• Sgt. Monta S. Ruth, 26, of Winston-Salem, N.C., died in Samarra, Iraq, where an improvised explosive device detonated near his military vehicle during security patrol operations.
• Capt. Lowell T. Miller, II, 35, of Flint, Mich., died in Iskandariyah, Iraq, when his military training team was conducting operations with the Iraqi Army and they came under attack by enemy forces using small arms fire.
• Maj. Gregory J. Fester, 41, of Grand Rapids, Mich., died in Iskandariyah, Iraq, where an improvised explosive device detonated near his dismounted patrol.
• 2nd Lt. Charles R. Rubado, 23, of Clearwater, Fla., died in Tal Afar, Iraq, when his M1A2 Abrams tank came under attack by enemy forces using small arms fire.
• Chief Warrant Officer Dennis P. Hay, 32, of Valdosta, Ga., died on in Tal Afar, Iraq, where his OH-58D Kiowa helicopter came under attack by enemy forces using small arms fire.
• Sgt. 1st Class Obediah J. Kolath, 32, of Louisburg, Mo., died in Landstuhl, Germany, of injuries sustained on Aug. 25, 2005, in Husaybah, Iraq, where an improvised explosive device detonated near his position.
• Spc. Joseph L. Martinez, 21, of Las Vegas, Nev., died in Tal Afar, Iraq, where his dismounted patrol was engaged by enemy forces using small arms fire.
• Sgt. 1st Class Trevor J. Diesing, 30, of Plum City, Wis. and
• Master Sgt. Ivica Jerak, 42, of Houston, Texas. and
• Cpl. Timothy M. Shea, 22, of Sonoma, Calif. died in Husaybah, Iraq, of injuries sustained when an improvised explosive device detonated near their position.
• Master Sgt. Chris S. Chapin, 39, of Proctor, Vt., died in Ar Ramadi, Iraq during combat operations when he was attacked by enemy forces using small arms fire.
• Spc. Joseph L. Martinez, 21, of Las Vegas, Nev., died in Tal Afar, Iraq, where his dismounted patrol was engaged by enemy forces using small arms fire.
• 1st Lt. Carlos J. Diaz, 27, of Juana Diaz, P.R., died on in Baqubah, Iraq, when enemy forces detonated an explosion near his position.
• Spc. Hatim S. Kathiria, 23, of Fort Worth, Texas, died in Baghdad, Iraq, where an enemy rocket impacted near his position.
• Pfc. Ramon Romero, 19, of Huntington Park, Calif., died when the vehicle he was in was struck by an improvised explosive device while conducting combat operations near Fallujah, Iraq.
• Staff Sgt. Victoir P. Lieurance, 34, of Seymour, Tenn. and
• Sgt. Joseph D. Hunt, 27, of Sweetwater, Tenn. in Samarra, Iraq, when they were conducting patrol operations and an improvised explosive device detonated near their vehicle.
• Sgt. Joseph C. Nurre, 22, of Wilton, Calif., died near Samarra, Iraq, where an improvised explosive device detonated near his M916 tractor during convoy operations.
• Pfc. Elden D. Arcand, 22, of White Bear Lake, Minn. and
• Staff Sgt. Brian L. Morris, 38, of Centreville, Mich. died in Mosul, Iraq, where their tractor pulling a 7,500-gallon tanker accidentally rolled over.
• Sgt. Willard T. Partridge, 35, of Ferriday, La., died in Baghdad, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle.
• Sgt. Nathan K. Bouchard, 24, of Wildomar, Calif. and

• Spc. Michael J. Stokely, 23, of Sharpsburg, Ga., died in Baghdad, Iraq, where an improvised explosive device detonated near his dismounted patrol.
• Spc. Jose L. Ruiz, 28, of Brentwood, N.Y., died in Mosul, Iraq, when he was conducting security operations and enemy forces using small arms fire drove by his position in a civilian vehicle.
• Sgt. Thomas J. Strickland, 27, of Douglasville, Ga. and
• Spc. Joshua P. Dingler, 19, of Hiram, Ga. and
• Sgt. Paul A. Saylor, 21, of Norcross, Ga. died in Al Mahmudiyah, Iraq, when their vehicle accidentally rolled over into a canal.
• Spc. Toccara R. Green, 23, of Rosedale, Md., died in Al Asad, Iraq, where multiple improvised explosive devices detonated near her unit during convoy operations.
• Spc. Brian K. Derks, 21, of White Cloud, Michigan, died in Baghdad, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device detonated while he was on mounted patrol.
• Spc. Rusty W. Bell, 21, of Pocahontas, Ark., died in Taji, Iraq, of non-combat related injuries.
• Lance Cpl. Evenor C. Herrera, 22, of Gypsum, Colo., died from wounds received from the detonation of an improvised explosive device while conducting combat operations near Ar Ramadi, Iraq.
• Pfc. Nathaniel E. Detample, 19, of Morrisville, Pa. and
• Spc. John Kulick, 35, of Harleysville, Pa. and
• Spc. Gennaro Pellegrini Jr., 31, of Philadelphia, Pa. and

• Staff Sgt. Ryan S. Ostrom, 25, of Liberty, Pa., died in Taqaddum, Iraq, from injuries sustained from enemy small arms fire earlier in Habbaniya, Iraq.
• Staff Sgt. Ramon E. Gonzales Cordova, 30, of Davie, Fla., died as a result of enemy small-arms fire while conducting combat operations in Ar Ramadi, Iraq.
• Spc. Anthony N. Kalladeen, 26, of Purchase, N.Y. and
• Pfc. Hernando Rios, 29, of Queens, N.Y. They died in Baghdad, Iraq from injuries sustained on Aug. 7, when their vehicle was struck by two improvised explosive devices and they received small arms fire.
• Pfc. Seferino J. Reyna, 20, of Phoenix, Ariz., died in Taji, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device detonated near his military vehicle.
• Sgt. Brahim J. Jeffcoat, 25, of Philadelphia, Pa. and
• Spc. Kurt E. Krout, 43, of Spinnerstown, Pa.died near Balad, Iraq, where they were conducting convoy operations when an improvised explosive device detonated near their vehicle.
• Lance Cpl. Chase J. Comley, 21, of Lexington, Ky., died as a result of an explosion from a suicide, vehicle-borne, improvised explosive device while conducting combat operations against enemy forces near Al Amiriyah, Iraq.
• Sgt. 1st Class Robert V. Derenda, 42, of Ledbetter, Ky. and
• Sgt. 1st Class Brett E. Walden, 40, of Fort Walton Beach, Fla. died in Rubiah, Iraq, when a civilian fuel truck collided with their vehicle while performing a convoy mission.
• Pvt. 1st Class Nils G. Thompson, 19, of Confluence, Pa., died in Mosul, Iraq, when he was struck by enemy fire while on a routine patrol at an Iraqi police station.
• Staff Sgt. Chad J. Simon, 32, of Madison, Wis., died while under hospice care in Madison, Wis., from wounds he received on Nov. 8, 2004 from an explosion while conducting combat operations in Babil Province, Iraq.
• Pvt. 1st Class Nils G. Thompson, 19, of Confluence, Pa., died in Mosul, Iraq, when he was struck by enemy fire while on a routine patrol at an Iraqi police station.

• Sgt. 1st Class Charles H. Warren, 36, of Duluth, Ga. died on in Baghdad, Iraq, when a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device detonated near their armored personnel carrier.
• Staff Sgt. James D. McNaughton, 27, of Middle Village, N.Y., died in Baghdad, Iraq, where he was struck by sniper fire while he was in a guard tower.
• Petty Officer 1st Class Thomas C. Hull, 41, of Princeton, Ill., died on board the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz in the Arabian Gulf after being medically evacuated to the carrier for a non-combat related incident.
• Sgt. James R. Graham III, 25, of Coweta, Okla., died as result of a suicide, vehicle-born, improvised explosive device while conducting combat operations near Hit, Iraq.
• Cpl. Jeffrey A. Boskovitch, 25, of Seven Hills, Ohio and

• Spc. Ronnie D. Williams, 26, of Erlanger, Ky., died in Baghdad, Iraq, of injuries sustained on July 16 in Baghdad, Iraq, when his tank left the road and entered a canal during patrol operations.
• Staff Sgt. Frank Tiai, 45, of Pago Pago, American Samoa, died in Baghdad, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device detonated near his position.
• Sgt. Travis S. Cooper, 24, of Macon, Miss., died in Balad, Iraq, from wounds sustained the previous day in Baghdad, Iraq, when an inprovised explosive device exploded near the vehicle he was searching.
• Sgt. 1st Class Ronald T. Wood, 28, of Cedar City, Utah, died in Kirkuk, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle.
• Spc. Jared D. Hartley, 22, of Newkirk, Okla., died in Taji, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle.
• Pfc. Timothy J. Hines, Jr., 21, of Fairfield, Ohio, died on July 14 at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, D.C., from wounds sustained on June 19 in Baghdad, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle.
• Staff Sgt. Tricia L. Jameson, 34, of Omaha, Neb., died in Trebil, Iraq. Jameson, a health care specialist was responding to a casualty incident when a secondary improvised explosive device detonated near her location.
• Cpl. Clifton B. Mounce, 22, of Pontotoc, Miss. and
• Cpl. Christopher D. Winchester, 23, of Flomaton, Ala. died when their vehicle was struck by an improvised explosive device while conducting combat operations near Trebil, Iraq.
• Spc. Benyahmin B. Yahudah, 24, of Bogart, Ga., died in Baghdad, Iraq, where a vehicle borne improvised explosive device detonated near his dismounted patrol.

• Pfc. Eric P. Woods, 26, of Omaha, Neb., died in Tal Afar, Iraq when his vehicle struck an improvised explosive device that caused the vehicle to overturn.
• Spc. Hoby F. Bradfield Jr., 22, of The Woodlands, Texas, died in Tal Afar, Iraq while he was conducting a dismounted cordon search.
• Sgt. Deyson K. Cariaga, 20, of Honolulu, Hawaii, died in Al Hammadi, Iraq, when the vehicle in which he was riding struck a land mine.
• Pvt. Anthony M. Mazzarella, 22, of Blue Springs, Mo., died July 5, in Taji, Iraq, when the vehicle in which he was riding accidentally rolled over.
• Spc. Christopher W. Dickison, 26, of Seattle, Wa., died July 5, in Baqubah, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device detonated near his patrol.
• Staff Sgt. Scottie L. Bright, 36, of Jackson, Miss. and
• Cpl. Lyle J. Cambridge, 23, of Shiprock, N.M. died in Baghdad, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device detonated near their vehicle during patrol operations.
• Staff Sgt. Jeremy A. Brown, 26, of Mabscott, W.Va., died in Mosul Iraq, from injuries sustained earlier that day in Tal Afar, Iraq, where the vehicle in which he was riding accidentally rolled over.

• Pfc. Samuel S. Lee, 19, of Anaheim, Calif., died in Ar Ramadi, Iraq, from non-combat related injuries.
• Sgt. Lee M. Godbolt, 23, of New Orleans, La., died in Baghdad, Iraq, when an explosive device detonated near his vehicle while he was on patrol.
• Sgt. Isiah J. Sinclair, 31, of Natchitoches, La., died in Baghdad, Iraq, when an explosive device detonated near his vehicle while he was on patrol.
• Cpl. Bryan J. Richardson, 23, of Summersville, W.Va., died as a result of hostile action in Al Anbar Province, Iraq.
• Spc. Travis R. Bruce, 22, of Byron, Minn., died in Baghdad, Iraq, when an enemy mortar round detonated near his guard position.
• Lance Cpl. Kevin S. Smith, 20, of Springfield, Ohio, died as a result of hostile action in Al Anbar Province, Iraq.
• Spc. Francisco G. Martinez, 20, of Fort Worth, Texas, died in Tamin, Iraq, as a result of enemy small arms fire.
• Sgt. Paul W. Thomason, III, 37, of Talbot, Tenn., died in Kirkuk, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle.
• Spc. Jonathan A. Hughes, 21, of Lebanon, Ky., died in Iraq when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle.
• Pfc. Lee A. Lewis, Jr., 28, of Norfolk, Va., died in Sadr City, Iraq, when his patrol was attacked by enemy small arms fire.
• Spc. Rocky D. Payne, 26, of Howell, Utah, died in Iraq when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle.
• Spc. Paul M. Heltzel, 39, of Baton Rouge, La., died in Baghdad, Iraq, while conducting a mounted patrol when a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device detonated.
• Staff Sgt. Ricky A. Kieffer, 36, of Ovid, Mich., died in Baghdad, Iraq, when enemy forces using small arms fire attacked his unit.
• Lance Cpl. Joshua L. Torrence, 20, of Lexington, S.C., died of wounds received as a result of hostile action in Al Anbar Province, Iraq.
• Staff Sgt. Donald D. Griffith, Jr., 29, of Mechanicsville, Iowa, died as a result of hostile action in, Tal Afar, Iraq.
• Spc. Nicholas E. Wilson, 21, of Glendale, Ariz., died in Ar Ramadi, Iraq, while conducting a roving patrol when his military vehicle rolled into a water-filled ditch after the shoulder of the road he was on collapsed.
• Petty Officer First Class Alec Mazur, 35, of Vernon, N.Y., died in a non-combat related incident in the U.S. Central Command Area of Responsibility.
• Spc. Matthew A. Koch, 23, of West Henrietta, N.Y., died in Taji, Iraq, from injuries sustained when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle.
• Sgt. Andrew L. Bossert, 24, of Fountain City, Wis., died in Ramadi, Iraq, when a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device detonated near their screening area.
• Pfc. Michael W. Franklin, 22, of Coudersport, Pa., died in Ramadi, Iraq, when a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device detonated near their screening area.
• Sgt. Seth K. Garceau, 27, of Oelwein, Iowa, died at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Landstuhl, Germany, of injuries sustained in Ar Ramadi, Iraq, on Feb. 27 when an improvised explosive device detonated near his military vehicle.
• Capt. Sean Grimes, 31, of Southfield, Mich., died in Ar Ramadi, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device detonated near his patrol.
• Sgt. 1st Class Donald W. Eacho, 38, of Black Creek, Wis., died in Ar Ramadi, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device detonated near his patrol.
• Cpl. Stephen M. McGowan, 26, of Newark, Del., died in Ar Ramadi, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device detonated near his patrol.
• Spc. Wade Michael Twyman, 27, of Vista, Calif., died in Ar Ramadi, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device detonated near his patrol.
• Spc. Adriana N. Salem, 21, of Elk Grove Village, Ill., died in Remagen, Iraq, when her military vehicle rolled over.
• Staff Sgt. Juan M. Solorio, 32, of Dallas, Texas, died in Mosul, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device detonated near his military vehicle as his unit was being attacked by enemy forces using small arms fire.
• Sgt. 1st Class Michael D. Jones, 43, of Unity, Maine, died in Syracuse, N.Y., of a non-combat related illness. The soldier was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
• Spc. Robert S. Pugh, 25, of Meridian, Miss., died in Iskandariyah, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device detonated near his military vehicle.
• Spc. Azhar Ali, 27 of Flushing, N.Y., died in Baghdad, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device detonated near his military vehicle.
• Spc. Wai P. Lwin, 27, of Queens, N.Y., died in Baghdad, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device detonated near his military vehicle.
• Spc. Lizbeth Robles, 31, of Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, died at the 228th Command Support Hospital in Tikrit, Iraq from injuries sustained in a military vehicle accident that occurred Feb. 28 in Bayji, Iraq.
