1. Obama Says Terror Threats 'Significant Enough'

President Obama said the recent threats of terrorist attacks are "significant enough that we're taking every precaution" in his first comments since the mass embassy closures across the Muslim world.

2. Shot Soldier Played Dead at Ft. Hood

Staff sergeant Alonzo Lunsford, who was allegedly shot seven times by psychiatrist Major Nidal Hasan in a deadly 2009 shooting rampage at Ft. Hood, testified that after being hit in the head and back, he played dead to avoid being killed.

3. Manhunt After Woman, Child Found Dead

A massive search is underway for James Lee DiMaggio, a man who may have kidnapped the two children of a woman who was found dead in his scorched California home, authorities said.

4. Weiner Calls Rival 'Grandpa' at AARP Forum

New York City mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner called political rival George McDonald "grandpa" during a tense confrontation at a forum sponsored by AARP.

5. Dustin Hoffman Now Cancer-Free

Dustin Hoffman has been successfully treated for cancer, his representative told ABC News. His publicist would not elaborate on what type of cancer Hoffman had or how he'd be treating it.
