1. New Debris Located in Search for Missing Malaysian Jetliner
Malaysian officials say an Australian plane spotted "circular" and "rectangular" objects today in the south Indian Ocean while searching for the missing jet. An Australian ship was on its way in an attempt to locate the possible debris.

2. At Least 8 Dead in Washington Mud Slide
Hopes of finding survivors from a massive mudslide that has killed at least eight people in rural Washington state waned after searchers pulled more bodies from the tangled debris field.

3. Train Derailment in Chicago Injures at Least 32
Police say a commuter train derailed early this morning at Chicago O'Hare International Airport, injuring at least 32 people on board.
