1. '16 Candles' Turns 30: Where All the Stars Are Now

In "Sixteen Candles," Molly Ringwald's character, Samantha Baker, is shocked when drama surrounding her sister's wedding causes her family to forget her sixteenth birthday.

Well, happy birthday Sam: You just turned 46.

"Sixteen Candles," starring Ringwald, Michael Schoeffling as her love interest, Jake Ryan, and Anthony Michael Hall as a twerp-y freshman with a big crush, premiered nearly 30 years ago, on May 4, 1984. Find out what happened to the film's stars.

2. Sources: Donald Sterling Has Cancer

Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling is battling cancer, sources have confirmed to ESPN.com.

The news was first reported by the New York Post.

The Post, citing sources, reported that the 80-year-old Sterling has been battling prostate cancer for an extended period of time.

3. Pizza Hut Makes Amazing Kentucky Derby Hats Out of Pizza Boxes

In honor of this year's Kentucky Derby, Pizza Hut unveiled “Derby hats” made from materials found at the restaurant, including pizza and wing boxes.

Pizza Hut is giving away the hats – inspired by the elaborate head gear seen at the race – created by designer Angela Bacskocky from the reality television show Project Runway, season 12.

4. President Obama's 10 Best Correspondents' Dinner Jokes

No president wants to be known as a big joke -- except on the night of the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner.

Each spring, the commander-in-chief sets aside his usual gravitas to tickle the funny bones of the White House press corps – and their celebrity guests.

The Correspondents' Dinner – or "Nerd Prom" as it's affectionately called in Washington – is a delicate balancing act: Jokes should be "edgy enough to get a laugh, but not dangerous enough to get you into trouble," according to former Bill Clinton speechwriter Jeff Shesol.

5. Mark Hamill on New 'Star Wars: Episode VII' Cast: 'Saga Is in Superb Hands'

The new members of the "Star Wars: Episode VII" cast were announced this week in addition to the old legends from the series like Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill.

Hamill, in particular, showed his excitement by tweeting about meeting and working with the new group.

"Star Wars" newbies include "Girls" star Adam Driver, John Boyeta, Daisy Ridley, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson and Oscar nominee Max von Sydow.

"UK table read – I was knocked out by the diverse & extraordinarily talented new cast members," he posted. "WOW they're good! The saga is in superb hands."
