1. Apple's Next Product Launch

Apple's next big reveal is nearly here.

Buzz has been building for weeks about the tech giant taking the wraps off its newest gadgets – a brand new device that will fit on your wrist? A bigger iPhone? We’ll know for sure with today’s product launch, an event shrouded in secrecy.

The event is set to begin at 10 a.m. PT at the Flint Center for the Performing Arts in Cupertino, Calif., the same Silicon Valley auditorium where Apple’s late co-founder, Steve Jobs, unveiled the Mac computer 25 years ago. Apple last held an event at the theater in 1999, when it launched the new iMac, according to Mashable.

Cryptic invitations for the event helped to spark intrigue, featuring the tease, "Wish we could say more."

2. Missing Tennessee Woman Holly Bobo's Remains Identified

Human remains discovered in rural Tennessee are those of a missing nursing student who disappeared from her home in April 2011, authorities say.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said Monday night that remains of Holly Bobo were found Sunday not far from her home in the town of Parsons, located about 110 miles east of Memphis.

Bobo was 20 when she disappeared, with hundreds of volunteers joining law enforcement to search for body.

3. Ray Rice Cut by Baltimore Ravens After Video of Elevator Punch

The Baltimore Ravens terminated Ray Rice's contract Monday after a video emerged of the running back punching his then-fiancee in an Atlantic City hotel elevator.

The NFL followed up by suspending Rice indefinitely, which would prevent another team from picking him up. Earlier in the day, the NFL said it had never seen the violent video before it suspended him for two games for domestic abuse earlier this summer.

"We requested from law enforcement any and all information about the incident, including the video from inside the elevator," the NFL said in a statement. "The video was not made available to us and no one in our office has seen it until today."

4. Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 Likely Downed by Outside Impacts

Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 was likely struck by multiple "high-energy objects from outside the aircraft," causing it to break up over eastern Ukraine, a preliminary report into the deadly aviation disaster concluded Tuesday.

The report by the Dutch Safety Board stopped short of saying the Boeing 777 was shot down by a missile, but its findings appear to point to that conclusion. It also did not say who might have been responsible.

The Boeing 777 suddenly plunged out of the sky July 17 over pro-Russian rebel-held territory in Ukraine, killing all 298 passengers and crew on board.

"The damage observed in the forward section of the aircraft appears to indicate that the aircraft was penetrated by a large number of high-energy objects from outside the aircraft," the report said. "It is likely that this damage resulted in a loss of structural integrity of the aircraft, leading to an in-flight break up."

5. Nude Is the New Black: Are Naked Reality Shows Exposing Too Much?

Just when you thought reality television couldn't shock you any more, naked reality TV shows, where contestants bear their souls and their bodies, are rising in popularity.

Initially when Ky Furneaux, a stunt woman, was approached about being on Discovery Channel’s “Naked and Afraid,” she said no.

“They’re like, ‘Look, just bear with us. The title is 'Naked and Afraid.’ I was like, No, no way,” Furneaux told ABC News’ “Nightline.” “They explained to me ‘You’ll be pixilated.’”
