1. Brazilian Couple's Frightening Cliffhanging Photos Will Make Your Heart Stop

Leonardo Pereira said he admits to being afraid the first time he ever allowed himself to dangle from the almost 3,000-foot cliff of Pedra da Gavea in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

"The first time I was a bit scared," Pereira told ABC News. "I just sit down, but the next time I hang off and make Victoria get [do] the same thing."

2. Why Female Prison Employees May Risk Having Sexual Relationships With Inmates

As allegations emerged about the potential relationship between two escaped convicted felons and a prison employee, one former female corrections officer is providing an insider perspective on forbidden love behind bars.

According to Robin Kay Miller, 53, a corrections officer for nearly 20 years until she retired in 2005, sex between officers and inmates has always been an issue in prison. Miller is writing a book about her experience working in the prison system.

“Inmates are con artists,” she said. “They know how to play the game and they know how to manipulate.”

3. Shark Attack: Man Airlifted to Hospital After 7th Reported Incident in North Carolina

A 68-year-old man was hospitalized after he was attacked by a 6-7 foot shark off the coast of Ocracoke Island in North Carolina, Hyde County and National Park Service officials said.

The victim, identified by the hospital as Andrew Costello, was bitten on his left side in his lower leg and hip and on both his hands around 12:13 p.m., Hyde County EMS Director Justin Gibbs told ABC News. He added that the victim was conscious when he got into the helicopter, where he gave a description of the attack that allowed officials to confirm he was bitten by a shark.

Costello was taken to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, North Carolina, and listed in fair condition, the hospital said in a statement Wednesday night.

4. Thousands Evacuated After Train Hauling Chemicals Catches Fire in Tennessee

A train carrying chemicals caught fire overnight in Maryville, Tennessee, displacing up to 5,000 people, authorities said.

The CSX train was traveling from Cincinnati to Waycross, Georgia when the fire broke out, said Kristin Seay with CSX Corporate Communications. The train was carrying liquefied petroleum gas and acrylonitrile – a product used in the manufacture of plastics.

It’s only been two weeks since he entered the presidential race, but billionaire Donald Trump has already seen some of his most prominent business relationships go up in smoke following remarks he made about Mexico on the very first day of his campaign.

“When Mexico sends its people they aren't sending their best,” Trump said at his announcement event last month from Trump Tower. “They are bringing drugs, they're bringing crime, they are rapists and some are good people but I speak to border guards and they tell us what we're getting.”
