1. Caitlyn Jenner Preaches Acceptance in Emotional ESPYs Award Speech

Caitlyn Jenner made an emotional plea for "accepting people for who they are" as she was honored with the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at Wednesday's ESPYs in Los Angeles.

Jenner, donning a white, long-sleeve gown, acknowledged her mother, her children and ABC News' Diane Sawyer in her acceptance speech and called the past few months a "whirlwind."

She said she had never met a transgender person until the past few months, and instead dealt with her "situation" alone and in private.

2. How President Obama Wants to Change the Way Americans Go to Prison

President Obama wants to change how you think about prison and he's going behind bars to do it.

Obama is visiting Federal Correctional Institution El Reno, a medium-security prison in Oklahoma, as part of an effort to push reforms to the nation's criminal justice system. It's the first time a sitting American president has ever visited a federal penitentiary.

“While the people in our prisons have made some mistakes — and sometimes big mistakes — they are also Americans,” Obama said Tuesday in a speech before the NAACP convention in Philadelphia.

“Our criminal justice system isn't as smart as it should be. It's not keeping us as safe as we should be. It is not as fair as it should be,” he said. “We need to do something about it.”

3. George H. W. Bush Hospitalized After Fall

Former President George H. W. Bush was hospitalized after a fall at home in Maine on Wednesday, spokesman Jim McGrath confirmed to ABC News.

Bush broke a bone in his neck at his summer home in Kennebunkport and is in stable condition at a hospital in Portland, according to McGrath.

He was hospitalized out of caution because of his age. His wife Barbara accompanied him.

NASA revealed the most detailed image ever taken of the dwarf planet Pluto, beamed down by the New Horizons spacecraft following its flyby yesterday morning.

5. Beachgoers Helped Shark Experts Save A Stranded Great White Shark in Massachusetts

A juvenile Great White shark beached itself in Chatham, Mass. and was rescued by officials and beachgoers who frantically splashed the fish with water in an effort to keep it alive until help arrived.

Isabelle Hegland was on her uncle's boat with her family when they spotted a small crowd of people hovering over what appeared to be a dolphin around 2:30 p.m. Monday.

However, upon getting closer to the small sandbar beach, they realized it was a 6-7 great white that had gotten itself into very shallow water.
