Students and faculty -- Princeton University -- under an evacuation order because of a bomb threat. You're looking at live pictures from news -- -- seven over the campus -- let's go straight tell Eyewitness News reporter Lucy Yang. Well that's right bomb threats have breached the ivy walls of Princeton this noon and the university is not taking any chances. About two hours ago university officials announced the evacuation. Of that campus all offices and buildings libraries six -- were to be evacuated immediately. Staff were told to go home unless directed otherwise by their supervisors not many students. Left on campus at this point in the calendar graduation was held on June 4. Seven days ago most have now gone on to their summer plans are looking at live video from news copter seven. This is the south end of the campus -- see some bleachers set up there that's where they hold the annual. Sitting on the lawn there which gave some of the students a place to sit today now there are always a few students who work on campus during the summer or do research there are also various summer programs on site. All have been told to leave the central New Jersey campus immediately. Public safety officers and Princeton township police are on the scene helping motorists drive off campus -- we saw quite a bit of congestion earlier. -- news copter seven and some of those on foot have been steered here to the south end of campus where there are -- feels. And where the pedestrians can wait clear of any classrooms and dorms again Princeton University this morning reported receiving bomb threats over -- the phone. Threats to multiple unspecified campus buildings it's not clear how credible those threats are but what is clear. -- that the university is treating is not treating this lightly the campus has been evacuated.
