A rare summer storm moved in quickly -- the beaches of Southern California -- do not often see the powerful storm -- beach goers off guard. On the world famous Venice Beach the storm took a dangerous -- in a flash allowed lightning strike. Injured nine people -- cleared the -- sending huge and friends running for cover. Eight of the victims were rushed to local hospitals two of them are in critical condition witnesses say most of the injured were in or near the water.
