Brigadeer general Jeffrey Sinclair is charged with 26 violations of the uniform code of military justice. Today inside the courtroom where cameras are allowed a government lawyer read those charges aloud. He mentioned -- multiple allegations of inappropriate relationships between Sinclair and several female subordinates. While Sinclair was deployed overseas as well as while he worked stateside on Fort Bragg and in Texas. The government alleges Sinclair use his rank and authority to coerce a female soldier to have and maintain a sexual relationship with him. He's also accused of pressuring another soldier to send him nude photos she took of herself. The government says Sinclair threatened to use his rank to -- one soldier's career if she ended their sexual relationship. The government alleges Sinclair requested and received nude pictures and video from another female subordinate. Used inappropriate language to refer to female soldiers and when confronted allegedly responded I'm a general I can say whatever the blank I want. The government lawyer also said Sinclair threatened to kill a female soldier and her family if she told anyone about their relationship.
