The traditional dress of Indian woman is the sari, worn whether one is going to the office or to beg in the street. It is made of two parts: a short-sleeved cropped shirt called a choli, and a four- to nine-yard long, one-yard wide piece of fabric that's wound around the body to form a skirt and then twisted in front and flipped over the right shoulder.
