Life at 21 in China

Wang's sister, Miao Miao, mother, Chuan Yun, and father, Wang Zhao Shu, at the dinner table back home. In a country with a one-child policy, Wang's parents had to pay a fine to have his younger sister. It cost them around $150, more than a month's pay at the time. Miao is in high school and will be attending college when she graduates. Wang says he will find a job immediately after he graduates to help pay for his sister's education. (Gamay Palacios/ABC)
