When "The Wonder Years" debuted in 1988 it made an instant star out of 12-year-old Danica McKellar who played Winnie Cooper, the iconic girl next door and the dream of adolescent males everywhere. Although sparks flew during her first kiss with her character's friend Kevin, the hormonal duo never made it and Cooper jetsetted off to Paris minus her childhood pal at the series finale. McKellar has taken an unexpected route since her Winnie wonders, and has traded acting for arithmetic. The star, now an actress and mathematician, is the author of "Math Doesn't Suck," a guide for middle school girls.

America's famed TV family the Arnolds kept us glued to our living room screens with their six-year stint on this Emmy award-winning sitcom set in the 1960s. Although the show was narrated by the older and wiser version of lead character Kevin Arnold, it was child actor Fred Savage whose endearing antics won us over as the young teen.
Savage has ditched the retro era of this sitcom for more modern roles. The actor has since made appearances in "Austin Powers in Goldmember," and has provided voices in the animated "Kim Possible" and "The Justice League."

Like any older sibling, Wayne Arnold never failed to live up to his big brother status with his constant bullying. Though the jock loved jostling the defenseless Kevin and his pal Paul, we're sure there was some brotherly love hidden in those punches somewhere.
Since his turn in this role, actor Jason Hervey has largely kept himself out of the spotlight, but he can occasionally be seen alongside his old friend Scott Baio on the reality series "Scott Baio is 45 … and Single."

A 1960s era show wouldn't be complete without a tie dye and peace sign sporting member, and thankfully flower child Karen Arnold was there to fill those hippie shoes.
Since then, British actress Olivia d'Abo has continued to pursue her acting career. She has since held roles in "The Legend of Tarzan" and "Batman Beyond."

The syrupy sweet mom Norma Arnold kept her brood in check, and still had a home cooked meal on the table each evening. Did this stay at home mom have some hidden superpowers? Probably not, but nevertheless, viewers were charmed by this character played by Alley Mills.
The actress has since continued her television career including appearances on "Sabrina the Teenage Witch," "Yes, Dear" and "The Bold and the Beautiful."

Jack Arnold may have been the grumpy man of the house, but we couldn't help sympathize with this petulant patriarch.
Actor Dan Lauria has since stopped his Korean War gripes and habit of disciplining the Arnolds, and continued with his acting career. Lauria had roles in "Big Momma's House 2," "Independence Day" and the TV drama "The Bronx is Burning."
