ring
This ring, with the crest of the family of an early Jamestown colonist, William Strachey, may bear a connection to William Shakespeare. Strachey wrote an account of the wreck of a ship called the Sea Venture in Bermuda in 1609. It may have inspired Shakespeare's play, "The Tempest."
