What happened chewy little red Corvette and -- white wine and a little I met a black one and four others isn't enough to bring any car enthusiasts to. Tears yet check this out big giant sinkhole opened up in Kentucky it's followed up a classic models of a venerated sports driving machine -- Security cameras caught a heartbreaking scene early Wednesday morning at the national Corvette museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky. This -- Cole forty feet across and thirty feet deep opening up inside the show room and swallowing eight classic corvettes. The ones in the bottom 3040 feet down and then there someday they sort of fell in sort of on top of each other there are some that are completely buried there are some that are just. -- right -- all right Tom. Among the casualties a 62 Corvette the one million and the one and a half million Corvette to roll off the assembly line. Are all important pieces of -- history. It's -- any eternal optimist I'm very much hoping that they can save the cars and that I can be repaired. And it touches your heart when you think of the people behind those cars. And there's been -- -- back they're the good news it appears it wasn't a total loss there are at least two cars that it appears to me. That could be saved. But what was lost was literally priceless -- -- they each had something special about them so. That historical significance that special is not something you can replace it'll be days before the museum can put a final price tag on the damage. Meantime engineers are still trying to figure out how will get the cars out of the hole and whether it's even finished growing. It's just crazy looking at -- calls they just can't overwhelmed by the way six of the cars are owned by the museum to -- loan from General Motors enemies in of course has insurance covering the cars and the building -- and that's still hurts look at that shot. It almost looks and you look at them and they almost like like toy models and -- making one of those like kids in class action movies where it's playing with his cars in the dirt exactly. -- they don't even look like real cars they look like a stop action. That's crazy that's just painful and of all places the sinkhole opens in the middle of the bill Michelle wouldn't. It couldn't be in the parking lot where there -- some credit -- and arts and on -- to. -- and stuff it has.
