Pet Food Scare

Nearly two weeks after Menu Foods recalled 60 million containers of pet food, Hills Pet Nutrition is voluntarily pulling its Prescription Diet m/d Feline dry food from the market. The company has learned that wheat gluten used in this product for two months this year came from the same company that supplied wheat gluten to Menu Foods, which is now considered a cause of the pets' ailments, according to the Food and Drug Administration.
