Consulate since the attack in benghazi one year ago. Abc's chief global affairs correspondent martha raddatz with the images, showing the sheer power of this truck bomb, felt far beyond the intended target. Reporter: The truck bomb was so powerful, it not only blew out windows in the consulate, but others nearly a mile from the blast. And martha, this comes as u.S. Troops come home from afghanistan. But this has been a var dangerous time. Reporter: It has been a hard year for afghan security forces. Up to 100 have been killed a week since the u.S. Troop drawdown began, david. There are still more than 55,000 u.S. Troops in afghanistan, but by this time next year, the majority of them will be gone or on their way out. 55,000 americans on their way out.
