Reporter: Wearing glasses and an orange prison jumpsuit, the man the city of cleveland called the devil accepted his fate in court. I plead guilty, your honor. Reporter: Ariel castro's plea means he will bethe death penalty, but is guaranteed to spend the rest of his life behind bars for kidnapping, raping, beating and holding AMANDA BERRY, gina DeJesus, and michelle knight hostage for a decade. Life in prison without parole, and no less than a thousand years behind bars. I knew I was going to get pretty much the book thrown at me. Reporter: The 53-year-old former bus driver breaking his silence. At one point trying to explain the unthinkable crimes. I was also a victim as a child, and it just kept -- it just kept going. My addiction to pornography and my sexual problem has really taken a toll on my mind. Reporter: The plea deal saves the three women he tormented the agony of reliving the ordeal on the witness stand. In a statement today their attorney says amanda, gina, and michelle are relieved by today's plea. They are satisfied with this resolution to the case. I want everyone to know how happy I am. Reporter: The only time the three women have spoken was july 9th. Help me, I'm amanda berry! Reporter: It was a 911 call from amanda berry that unraveled a decade-old mystery and led police to the house of horrors where the women, and a child he fathered with berry, were imprisoned. Reporter: Castro has said he wants to see that child again. I miss my daughter very much. Reporter: Prosecutors said today they will fight to make sure that never happens. And for this house of horrors where that young child was born, cleveland officials say it will be torn down within the next month.
