Reporter: Julie miller says 8 times between 2009 and 2011 she contacted ek fax filling out reams of paperwork, even highlighting their mistakes, but after all that, she claims she still never connected their errors. There was all kinds of incorrect information like 40 debt collector information and incorrect social security and birthdays. Reporter: For two years her credit report listed e rain yus accounts in collection attempts, problems she discovered only after she was rejected by a bank when she wanted to open a new account. We put some of the things off that we had planned to do during this phase because we couldn't get credit. Reporter: What makes this story different from so many others with similar complaints that a federal jury just awarded miller $18.6 million, one of the biggest settle mths ever. Ek we fax wouldn't say whether it disputes the claims but says we are very disappointed in the jury verdict and are exploring our options. Miller hopis a wakeup call.
