The bbc is reporting that Oscar winning british actor/director Richard attenborough has passed away in England. He started his acting career at the age of 12. His career spanning six decades making him one of England's best-known leading men. He started in such movies as "Brighton rock," "The great escape" and later "Jurassic park" and won two oscars for "Gandhi" in 1983. Richard attenborough died just days before his 91st birthday. We turn now to the new box office superheroes, the "Guardians of the galaxy" now officially the biggest hit of the summer. Oh, yeah. The movie has now raked in $252 million in ticket sales making it the highest grossing film of the summer. It was produced by marvel studios at Disney which is the parent company of ABC news.
