Evidence of a kind of shadow war now being waged by Iran around the world. Tonight Israeli and Jewish facilities everywhere including here in the US are on heightened alert. Overseas today three US warships to -- -- and threats and injured the vital oil gateway the strait of foreign goods. Our own Martha Raddatz right there on board and she'll bring us her report and a moment. But first we want to tell you what is causing this new concern and the evidence of secret -- -- in attacks. ABC's chief investigative correspondent Brian Ross has been talking to the FBI all day Bryant. Diane it appears to be hit squad -- hit squad with the FBI telling ABC news tonight it is worried the violence could spill over to the US. Israeli diplomatic facilities and Jewish places of worship in at least ten US cities have been told they could be targets. Following what appeared to be the increasingly violent series of attacks by Iran. An apparent retaliation for the assassination of five Iranian scientists the latest incident today came in Bangkok -- It was an explosion that blew off the roof of a rented home in Bangkok. That led police to three men identified as Iranians who apparently had set up a bomb factory and detonated some of the explosives by accident. One of the men are still at large. Authorities had another of the three. Blew off his own lines after he threw a grenade a police. And it bounced back and exploded near him in Washington the State Department seemed to tie the incident to Iran and to two bomb attacks on Monday. We are concerned. About. Use of international terrorism by Iran or by anybody else against Israel or against any other innocents. And about it a spike in the number of incidents that we've seen. -- Israel had already blamed Iran for the two attacks Monday. Including the bombing of an Israeli embassy car in India which seriously injured the wife of an Israeli diplomat. And the failed bombing of a vehicle outside the Israeli embassy in the country of Georgia. I think Iran is not only retaliating for the embarrassment of having its nuclear scientists. Killed in its own capital. But it's also sending Israel a message. If Israel bombs Iran's nuclear facilities. -- -- can retaliate around the world through its terrorist network. And attention is about to increase with the US and Europe tonight considering new moves that could immediately cripple the ability of -- -- banking system.
