Reporter: Relatives of chiefs linebacker jovan belcher speaking out today trying to make sense of this tragedy. We are overwhelmed with both sadness and confusion. Reporter: He shot and killed his girlfriend kassandra perkins saturday. His family releasing this statement -- please keep us in your hearts and prayers because two lives were lost.
