The miss world competition is this weekend in indonesia, tonight conservative muslims are voicing their anger at the young women. Reporter: On the eve of the miss world competition, the final contestants getting ready to take center stage in indonesia. The most populous muslim country in the world. Embassy in djakarta says it received information that, quote, extremist groups may be planning to disrupt the miss world pageant. Potentially through violent means. Urging u.S. They vow to burn down the venue, claiming her clothes and provocative dance moves would corrupt the youth. They call the miss world pageant, quote, pornography, and protesters have hit the streets of djakarta where the competition was due to take place. Holding up banners saying, reject miss world, it exploits women, and shouting allah akbar, god is great. Organizers moved the competition to bali. And for the first time in the history of miss world, the bikini round has been cancelled. Instead, contestants will have to cover up, wearing clothing.
