Next here tonight imagine riding on a school bus and not knowing it's on fire that's what happened to two dozen children and chaperones on board but a quick thinking hero. Flagged down the driver moments before the bus exploded in flames here's ABC Stephenson Tommy. Take a look this is near Georgetown Mississippi a school bus from an area high school burned to the ground Wednesday. It could've been a painful tragedy for families here but tonight we're learning that postal worker Betty -- them save the day. We were yellen -- on this get out the buzz. She first saw the bus at an intersection as it was starting to smoke. And then pulled behind at the driver of the bus in the students inside had no idea. At the -- by way it was smile again. But there is that claimed that thing. -- who's also a firefighter was leaving a dealership with her sister and a brand new car she says she kept leaning on her horn but couldn't get the driver's attention. That's when she put the pedal to the metal passed the bus and drove right in front of it forcing it to a stop. We're running on the side of them banks and we have the pleasures a home home gained.
