Where we've been actually working on a home and things are opening up. Reporter: Crews have been working for weeks filling sink holes. They're popping up more an more and more. Reporter: She's right. Florida is sinkhole central. Dozens of families at this orlando-area vacation resort had to run for their lives in August. You don't see a building every day twisting as if it's in a vortex. Reporter: Outside Tampa, a man was swallowed whole, sleeping in his bed. Thousands of possible sinkholes are waiting to open up. Underground water washes away the limestone and the Earth falls in. This morning, the hole filled with sand and concrete. Families here still nervous tonight. Steve osunsami, ABC news, Atlanta.
