So, when kate and her mom, shanell, boarded a plane for philadelphia, shanell was bracing for the worst. We knew that flights were difficult for her. Reporter: A businessman sat down. Kate immediately started reaching for him and calling him daddy. And what happened next led shanell to write an extraordinary thank you note that she posted online. Dear, daddy, in seat 16c. You could have shifted uncomfortably in your seat. You could have ignored her. You could have given me that smile that means manage your child, please.
