They offer free classes, even a free month right in your area. When you are ready to buy a membership, timing is everything. Don't sign up until the end first one to throw something out there, say I only want to pay this. I promise they'll call after. Reporter: Some whole salers have already done it for you. At costco for instance we found a 24-hour fitness membership for half off. Just $14.50 a month. If the price still doesn't fit, try these free downloads. Follow along with yoga yak, nike's training club, 100 free targeted workouts and my fitness pal which counts calories burned and consumed. I didn't realize that there are so many apps. Reporter: In all these moms with she had $2,226 in excess costs this year. Spinning their wheels? Our moms can now save that for the gym. That's real money. Reporter: Also make sure you check with your health insurance company. That's right, your health insurance company, to see if they offer discounted memberships.
