Wanted to take a moment to -- passing tonight a longtime member of our own family here we lost today he helped us tell stories all over the world. Trevor Booker traveled the world for ABC news for more than two decades the sound man who so often -- -- children peering through the window of voice. Based in South Africa he traveled to some of the most dangerous places for us Somalia -- want to Iraq. Peter Jennings -- apartheid -- South Africa and most recently covering the election of the new -- -- This image of Trevor they're on the right off on the horizon Robben Island where Nelson Mandela spent most of his time in prison. One of our colleagues today David -- perhaps putting it best saying Trevor was like Crocodile Dundee with a sound -- a grizzled veteran. With good humor and steady nerves he made so many of us better on the scene with Ron Claiborne in Pretoria with bill -- -- in the rhinos in Zambia. And our trip to meet the jailer who famously became Nelson Mandela's your friend. Tonight our thoughts are with photographer James Mitchell they -- on the left who so often traveled with Trevor. And -- -- family his partner Donna and his beautiful daughter Gabriella. Hers was the name that brought out the biggest smile. Trevor -- and get -- -- Paul and our thoughts tonight.
